• HelpDesk technician:
  Asandia continues its rapid expansion throughout the Boston and Metrowest area and seeks qualified HelpDesk technicians with 3-5 years of diverse experience. You'll be asked - often with less than 24 hours notice - to provide on-site HelpDesk and MIS support to companies and organizations in the local area.

  Tasks may include:

  • PC performance and software troubleshooting and resolution
  • Computer peripheral installation and configuration
  • On-site application and human interface training and support for novice users
  • High speed network connectivity (T1, DSL, cable modem)
  • The unexpected

  Qualifications include:

  • Thorough knowledge of all flavors of Microsoft Windows
  • Basic network connectivity experience
  • Friendly, humble, conscientious, professional personality
  • Broad knowledge of common office productivity and utility applications

  Most assignments require 4 hours or less for completion. Hourly pay, based on individually negotiated length of assignment, is based on level of experience and proven success in the field.

• Corporate concierge:
  Asandia seeks a part-time (20 flexible hours/week) candidate to fill their newly created position of Corporate concierge. You will be responsible for minimizing the stress of Asandia's founder by managing a variety of lifestyle requirements. Tasks may include:

  • house-sitting while waiting for deliveries and tradesmen
  • running local errands (hardware store, post office)
  • organize events, small parties, and dinners
  • grocery shopping

  You'll need impeccable references, a driver's license, reliable transportation, knowledge of the local area, and a lot of ambition. We'll pay you 8 bucks an hour and 10 cents/mile for documented related travel.

  The ideal candidate is outgoing, professional, and unafraid of new, unique, and challenging technology assignments. You'll be required to coordinate your site visit with an assigned client and represent Asandia's image of thorough, conscientious, professional, knowledgeable, and personable support. Most assignments are 4 hours or less. Hourly pay, based on individually negotiated length of assignment, is based on level of experience and proven success in the field.

• Sales associate:
  Asandia seeks an energetic sales associate responsible for generating, pursuing, and closing client leads. The ideal candidate will be moderately knowledgeable in the field of computer and network technology, and able to translate client requirements into Asandia deliverables. No experience is necessary, but a lengthy, intense, and demanding interview - including role playing - will be held with all prospective candidates. You should be prepared to quickly assess an oftentimes techno-ignorant client's demands and convince them of how Asandia can solve their problems. Bring a towel and be prepared to sweat. We're seeking a small staff that can quickly generate and maintain a steady client base.
